District 5 Representative

  • Maintain an active pulse on technicians within your district through conversation, outreach, and presence

  • Gather feedback on what technicians need from the IVTA and communicate those needs to the Board

  • Share IVTA initiatives, opportunities, and updates with technicians in your area

  • Promote the veterinary technician profession through outreach efforts such as community events, schools, colleges, and educational programs

  • Represent the IVTA in local professional settings when possible

  • Provide quarterly updates or insights to support board discussions and communications

  • Prepares to assume the role of President and assists with strategic planning initiatives.
     

  • Assists other board members with various initiatives and processes as needed.
